Compulsory Post Requested by Big Boss

This is my 2nd post after we have been forced by the big boss. hahaha...

Too many things happened this few weeks. It has drained me out. It is all about managing people. Trust me. This is very challenging experience. My first experience dealing with staff that is always MIA, dealing with our collaborator which is giler babas bossy and fussy. Even my bosses are not fussy like her. But I do believe it is always a good learning experience for me. At the end of the day, it is all about work.

Apart of that, I had very good time completing yesterday event although with small glitch here and there and disatisfaction of the numbers of turn up, but I do believe it is partly our mistake. we have used wrong word in the email which create different understanding to the SPIKERs. Thank you Kak Aida for highlighting it.

Picture of yesterday event. Enjoy!

First Post after 3 months

This is my first post after I've joined SKALI and to be exact SEV. Due to health problem and work commitmment, finally "Survivor for the Fittest" came abroad. Thanks Nic for the strict dateline for us. If not, I'll still being lazy and create excuses. hahaha.

I'd to share my first 3 months experience in SEV:

The environment in SEV is very simple. Since we are only a small family, all of us had no difficulties to know each other in short period of time.

I learned on how to manage people. Although its hard, but this is my new experience. It is very challenging to manage people when you don't have any experience. InsyaAllah, I'll give my best to the team.

I found it is hard for me to understand the overall process of SEV as we are yet to develop the so call standard operating procedures document. Lets develop this and follow the process.

Adaptation for changes in SPIKE program - We had a session in PD to re-allign the current approach/syallabus and change based on the new requirement.

Decision making - Opportunity to do decision.

Things to improve:

Prioritization of work
Scheduling for other team members
Regular updates to the top management
Planning

Nevertheless what are my experiences since my 3 months in SEV, I enjoyed the work, the people and the environment although i've been hospitalised for 2weeeks during my first 3 months period.

p/s- Dok di MDeC for 5 years, tak pulak admitted. hahaha.
